Base Guides
Palworld Best Base Locations
Palworld best base locations are not one perfect Palbox. 1.0 gives you several base slots. Put the first on ore and coal. Spend the rest on oil, sulfur, or quartz. Coordinates below are map X, Y from community 1.0 surveys.
The 1.0 ore and coal hub
If you only remember one pin, use the ridge near the Sealed Realm of the Guardian at about 180, -39. Community counts put roughly eight ore nodes and six coal nodes in one build radius. You smelt on site instead of hauling ore across the island.
Nearby variants sit around 188, -37 and 190, -40. Walk the circle before you lock the Palbox. Uneven ground needs pillars. Raids can still path to some ledges, so test a dummy box overnight if you care about raid pathing.
Early on, skip this ridge. Hill of Beginnings south around 264, -548 or the north plateau around 232, -487 is flatter, and local pals sit at level 1 to 3.
Specialist outposts: oil, sulfur, quartz
Crude oil
Sakurajima oil fields at about -646, 270 are the late-game Crude Oil answer. The ground is flat enough for Oil Extractors. Nearby pals run level 50 and up, so this is a relocation, not a day-one camp.
Sulfur and quartz
Mount Obsidian west around -744, -442 is the sulfur specialist. Astral Mountains quartz around -212, 250 holds a dense Pure Quartz cluster for circuit boards. Bring heat or cold gear before you staff those biomes.
1.0 also added Ore Mining Site and Coal Mine structures. They cut the need to sit on natural nodes. You still want a hub with smelters, storage, and beds. Node camps become feeders, not your only home.
Staff the plot with the right miners
Location is half the job. Best mining pals Palworld ranks in 1.0 start with Aegidron at Mining 8. Astegon, Blazamut, and Knocklem sit at Mining 7. Anubis stays the workshop pick: Mining 6 plus Handiwork 6 so the same Pal digs and crafts.
Before those spawns, Tombat (Mining 3) and Dumud (Mining 2) keep early ore moving. Pair miners with a transporter. A full node does nothing if ore sits on the ground.
Node hunting is the slow part. ESP overlays mark pals, players, and world objects so you confirm a ridge still has ore before you move the Palbox. For a full combat and work roster, see best pals in Palworld.
After the Palbox is down, keep palworld cheats overlays on so you can recount nodes without guessing.
Lock the Palbox and keep producing
Run ESP while you survey a new Palbox. Same Windows license covers overlays and aim. Instant delivery after payment. Check status after a Palworld patch.
FAQ
How many bases can I own in Palworld 1.0?
The default count is four, and you can unlock more as you progress. Treat that as a rotation: one crafting hub, then oil, quartz, or sulfur feeders.
Is 180, -39 raid-proof?
Some guides call nearby peaks unraidable. 1.0 pathing changed. Elevated rock still helps, but confirm with a test box. Do not assume an old video still matches live raids.
Where should I put my first Palbox?
Start on the Plateau of Beginnings flats. Move to the Guardian ore and coal ridge once you can handle level 20 pals and own a few miners.
Do mining structures replace resource bases?
They reduce node camping. You still want coal and ore close to furnaces, plus a late oil field for polymer. Structures do not replace Sakurajima oil.
Which Pal should I assign first at a mining hub?
Tombat or Digtoise early. Anubis when you need crafting on the same plot. Aegidron when you want a miner that only mines.
